In the current section of the Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes Tier List, the Galactic Legend will contain the most powerful star wars characters. The Galactic Legend tier is equivalent to an S-Tier in a normal list. All the champions here are event-based characters with extremely powerful abilities. Furthermore, these heroes are among the hardest to obtain due to their steep requirements. These heroes will be discussed as follows.
Supreme Leader Kylo Ren
SL Kylo Ren is unanimously considered the best hero in the game. He is one of the most brutal heroes among the star wars characters because of his incredibly high crit-ratio and survivability. Kylo Ren works best with Sith Trooper, First-Order Stormtrooper, General Hux, and Kylo Ren (Unmasked). He is also one of the fastest heroes in-game next to Rey. Similarly, He also has one of the highest health stats with only Rey beating him in that stat.
Jedi Master Luke Skywalker
The next hero is Luke Skywalker the Jedi Master version. Luke has above-average health in his stats but has one of the best defensive stats out of any in the game. Due to his health being key for his moves, it’s best to mod him for his defense stats (Armor and Resistance). He is best paired with the heroes Luke Skywalker (Jedi Knight), Hermit Yoda, General Anakin, and Jedi Knight Revan.
Sith Eternal Emperor
The Sith Lord himself, Sith Eternal Emperor is the next Galactic legend we will be discussing on the list. He is one of the few heroes in the game who is completely capable of solo carrying his entire team.
His abilities to debuff enemies and at the same time boost his own stats make him an extremely powerful hero to go against. Despite being a solo carry, he does have good synergy with heroes like Darth Malak, Darth Sion, Sith Assassin, Fallen Bastila Shan, and Sith Empire Trooper.
Jedi Master Kenobi
Jedi Master Kenobi is perhaps the best hero for territory battles in the game as of yet. Consequently, he has consistent damage with constant healing which allows him to be a very lethal threat when carrying through waves. Not much information has been gathered on this specific hero due to his extremely steep requirements however, he still remains to be an extremely powerful hero of his type.
Rey
One of the first METAs that were introduced in the game revolved around Rey. She has the highest speed stat out of any Galactic Legend in the game as of yet. Her special abilities have no cooldown but rely on health to work well which is why most of her builds are focused on making her a tank. Galactic Legend Rey has synergy with champions like Chewbacca, Rey (Jedi Training), General Kenobi, Resistance Hero Poe, and Resistance Hero Finn.
A Tier
![Star Wars Tier List: Galaxy of Heroes Ranking [2023] (2) Star Wars Tier List: Galaxy of Heroes Ranking [2023] (2)](https://i0.wp.com/toptierlist.net/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/Grand-Master-Tier-1.png)
In the current rank of the SWGOH Tier List, we will be discussing the heroes that are substantially good compared to the other heroes in the article but are still not nearly as good as the Galactic Legends. They are discussed as follows.
Jedi Knight Luke Skywalker
Jedi Knight Luke Skywalker is one of the best heroes in-game because of his relative easiness to obtain compared to the Galactic Legends. This version of Luke has average health in the beginning but his in-game buff makes him the fourth-best hero in all-star wars characters when it comes to the health stat. Consequently, he has the highest physical damage out of anyone in the game making him a great choice and the best A-Tier hero. Luke has synergy with heroes like Hermit Yoda, General Kenobi, and Grand Master Yoda.
Jedi Knight Revan
Jedi Knight Revan is one of the two types of Revan we will be discussing in the article. He is one of the most annoying heroes to deal with when it comes to his battles. It seems like the best way to counter his build is through having a CLS party and picking the enemy team off one by one.
Darth Revan
Darth Revan is the next and final form of Revan in the tier and the last hero of the A rank. He is one of the cheapest strong star wars characters in the game as of yet. Among popular opinions, he is also one of the most annoying heroes to play against especially if he is synergized with characters like Bastilla Shan Fallen and Sith Troopers.
B Tier
![Star Wars Tier List: Galaxy of Heroes Ranking [2023] (3) Star Wars Tier List: Galaxy of Heroes Ranking [2023] (3)](https://i0.wp.com/toptierlist.net/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/Master-Tier-1.png)
Moving on to the next rank in our Star Wars Tier List 2023, which is the Master tier. It is the place of the universally known B-Tier which is why it will contain mediocre to slightly above-average heroes.
B2 Super Battle Droid
The first hero we will be discussing in the Master tier is the B2 Super Battle Droid. It is one of the if not the best droid heroes in-game, however, its ability is only restricted to limited situations. B2 is not a good hero to run without a plan to go along with it. The Super Droid is also extremely good at buff controls but not that great when it comes to offense.
Darth Vader
Among the most popular star wars characters, Darth Vader is the next Master Tier hero we will be discussing. He is a very good attacker like most dark empire heroes furthermore, has great debuff abilities making him a very decent pick to grind up for the higher-tier champs. Darth Vader has great synergy with Anti-Jedi and Anti-Rebel.
General Grievous
General Grievous is one of the most well-rounded heroes in the game as of yet which is why he is in this tier. His strongest ability is to become stronger as the droids around him die making him very good in combat.
Jedi Knight Anakin
Jedi Night Anakin is one of the strongest attackers in the game. Anakin is one of the better attackers in the game and only gets stronger when an ally or an enemy is defeated. Jedi’s in the game are not that good but can be lethal if played properly. Furthermore, he has great synergy with the Galactic Republic heroes as well.
General Kenobi
The long-time adversary of General Grievous, General Kenobi is the next hero we will be discussing. He does not have good or noticeable attack stats but is pretty good when it comes to the “Health Steal” stat.
Grand Admiral Thrawn
Grand Admiral Thrawn is one of the best star wars heroes in the current tier. However, it is imperative that he be placed with the right heroes for synergy because he is useless without them. Some of the heroes that allow for synergy are Darth Vader, Emperor Palpatine, and Death Trooper.
Grand Master Yoda
Grand Master Yoda is another one of the more commonly known heroes. He is definitely worth the effort according to most players but the only downside is that he is only good with extremely specific heroes. This little drawback makes him viable for the B-Tier champs but still definitely worth getting.
Han Solo
Han Solo is one of the most popular star wars characters in the entire franchise. Even though he has a solo in his name but in fact, he is a very strong team player as his buffs in battle help the time progress much faster than it normally would. However, for some Han Solo is just a luxury character while others use him for his potential in team-built strategies.
C Tier
![Star Wars Tier List: Galaxy of Heroes Ranking [2023] (4) Star Wars Tier List: Galaxy of Heroes Ranking [2023] (4)](https://i0.wp.com/toptierlist.net/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/Knight-Tier-1.png)
The Knight tier is the C-Tier equivalent in our Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes Tier List. It contains the perfectly average heroes on the bottom side and some of the lower-than-average heroes in the game as of yet. The champions in the C tier are not that hard to obtain and are good in very limited situations. They are listed below.
Ahsoka Tano
Ahsoka Tano is one of the Jedi we will be discussing. She is capable of healing and dealing damage sufficient enough to win you fights but not with ease. Her rework made her a little more balanced when it comes to her gameplay. She has great synergy with Nightsister, Evasion, and AoE Heal heroes.
BB8
BB8 is one of the few droids we will be discussing. It has decent performance among many teams but holds distinction in support for a resistance-based team. The BB8 drone synergizes well with JTR and a good droid team.
Kylo Ren
Kylo Ren is another one of the more popular star wars characters. He is a very strong attacker to have in a team. Furthermore, he is a very heavy tank as well, allowing him to take many hits before he goes down. For synergy with Kylo Ren, Counter, Critical Aoe, CD reset, and Healing immunity seems to be the best choice.
IG-88
Up next is one of the best riflers of this tier, the IG-88. It is a robot that has very serious damage with impressive dodging ability. The dark side droid also has enemy heal reduction paired with enhanced critical damage, making it a decent pick if you do not have any better heroes to play. Ig-88 synergizes well with Aoe, Anti Heal, and Ability Block.
Poggle the Lesser
Poggle the Lesser is a dark-side support type with some offensive capabilities. It is a droid much like the last hero discussed. The Geonosian droid has a very decent stat boost when paired with other droids. It Synergizes well with Offense, Evasion, and Ability Block
Captain Phasma
Captain Phasma is one of the great first-order leaders of the Dark side heroes. He has a well-made kit that specializes in assisting his allies in battles. Phasma does well in the arenas as a leader especially when synergized with Advantage, AoE Damage, and Turn Meter Gain.
R2-D2
Next on the Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes tier is one of the most popular star wars characters ever, R2-D2. R2-D2 is a battle droid that has value as a light slight plug and is among the better option in a droid team. The droid is not a must-have in the game but is required for some specific missions which is why it rates slightly below the average heroes.
Count Dooku
The sith, Count Dooku is a hero from the dark side and is an Anti-Jedi character who is designed to counter Jedi teams. Furthermore, he counters Jedi teams with ease and always deals damage before he is defeated. Count Dooku is a good hero to play if you know you’re playing against some Jedis.
Rey (Jedi Training)
Rey (Jedi Training) is very commonly referred to as JTR in the game and is possibly one of the most-played heroes in the game. Compared to the other heroes in these tiers, he is very hard to obtain as his events only appear a few times each year.
Ezra Bridger
Ezra Bridger is the next light-side Jedi attacker we will be discussing on our SWGOH Tier List. He is one of the more flexible heroes because his abilities change in accordance with his allies which makes him a pretty decent champion to unlock. Consequently, he has very decent health, armor, and resistance stats which allow him to be one of the best backup allies one can use.
Finn
The resistance fighter, Finn is one of the heroes from the Light side who is also a very heavy tank in the game. He also offers offensive options in the form of physical damage. Finn is one of the choices for a good resistance team leader because of his abilities like his expose and stun. He also has a built-in self-heal paired up with defense stats which allows him to be a great hero to take out prime enemies.
Old Daka
One of the only night sister characters, Old Daka is a dark side support hero who can heal rapidly and disrupt the enemy team thanks to her kit. She doesn’t have good hp herself which is why she isn’t played that much but has a small chance to revive fallen allies while also dealing decent Aoe damage as a dark side character.
Veteran Smuggler Chewbacca
Smuggler Chewbacca is not as good as some of the others we discussed but definitely worth mentioning. The Veteran Smuggler variant of Chewbacca has decent survivability skills due to him obtaining just over 60k health along with gaining armor and resistance stats when in battle. He only deals physical damage which scales very nicely when paired with the correct relic.
Veteran Smugler Han Solo
This version of Han Solo underperforms compared to some of his other variants but still is not bad to have around. He is a scoundrel attacker with extremely annoying debuff capabilities for the enemy teams. Alongside veteran smuggler Chewbacca, veteran smuggler Han Solo is designed to be great in territory battles, allowing both of them to show off their kit perfectly.
Nute Gunray
Nute Gunray is a dark side hero who also happens to be a bomber with a notorious stealth ability. The good thing about his bombs is that they scale extremely well but at the same time have a very long cooldown which makes him a little complex to play properly. He has very poor resistance and armor but has great speed and 9/10 times will move first. Furthermore, his synergy bonuses are very useful when he is the leader of a team having stealth units.
Obi-Wan Kenobi (Old Ben)
Another massively popular character of the franchise, Obi-Wan Kenobi or Old Ben, is a legendary Jedi who is very good at landing debuffs on the enemy team heroes. He works best with heroes who have distinctive speed, evasion, and buffs. When Kenobi is defeated in battle, his allies gain a massive buff which is very good but at the same time, Kenobi lacks damage which validates him into the current tier.
First Order Executioner
Next up is the First Order Executioner or otherwise known as FOE or FOX. He has quite noticeable stat values starting off, like his large health increase of almost 20k and increase in both armor and resistance.
FOE only deals physical damage which is also quite notable but not that impressive. First Order Executioner is very good when synergized with the First Order Team, allowing him to increase his stats even more. Normally FOX would be in the lower tiers but since he is a requirement for Galactic Legend Kylo Ren, his tier has been bumped up to just below average.
General Veers
General Veers is a dark side hero who fulfills the role of support hero in a team. He deals bonus damage against rebels which means that he also synergizes well with heroes with traits like Anti-Rebel, AoE Damage, and Ability Block. Consequently, he has a very low health pool which makes him quite risky to play but he does gain more attack power as more allies are defeated. Lastly, he also has the ability to speed himself up and gain a turn-meter to deal more damage.
Sith Marauder
The Sith Marauder is a very destructive sith attacker who benefits from all buffs and debuffs which makes him quite annoying to deal with. His speed stat is one of the most important stats but alongside that his critical chance and critical damage must also be kept in mind when modding him. It is important to level up the critical stats as they complement his special ability “Victory Through Power” which reduces the enemy’s max health by 15% on a critical hit.
Geonosian Soldier
The next hero we will be discussingis the Geonosian Soldier. It is one of the five Geonosian characters in the game. Needless to say, they all have great synergy but what makes the soldier different from the rest is its aggressive attacking kit. Furthermore, It benefits greatly from the support heroes but has low-speed stats which may need special attention when modding.
Greedo
Greedo is another dark side bomber but without the stealth. He has very good critical damage stats which makes his AoE very deadly. Next comes his scaling which is decent but his bombs aren’t spontaneous, instead, they do delayed damage. The bombs do have a long cooldown but if Greedo lands a critical hit he has the option to attack again.
Hk-47
Hk-47 is a dark side droid with an extremely lethal kit. He is one of the heaviest tank droids with some anti-Jedi abilities as well. He has a unique ability to revive himself which is only a 75% chance but at the same time has increased debuff chances against Jedi heroes. When played in a droid team, he gets more turns the more he lands critical hits on enemy heroes.
D Tier
![Star Wars Tier List: Galaxy of Heroes Ranking [2023] (5) Star Wars Tier List: Galaxy of Heroes Ranking [2023] (5)](https://i0.wp.com/toptierlist.net/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/Padawan-Tier-1.png)
Next is the Padawan tier in our Star Wars Tier List which is the D-tier equivalent tier when compared to others. They may not be as bad as the younglings tier, but they are pretty bad.
Aayla Secura
The first hero of the Padawan tier is Aayla Secura. She is a light-side hero and a Jedi who has very impressive stats to start off. She gains a strong health increase of almost 20k as well as an approximately 10% increase in her armor and resistance stats. These stats changes are all from her relic, the Lightsaber. These stats are still considered average at best but in the bigger picture, she falls short of the Knight or Master tier.
Admiral Ackbar
Admiral Ackbar is a rebel side support hero who is great at cleansing debuffs off of allies. Since most of the teams run a debuff hero like Darth Sidious, having Ackbar is extremely helpful in removing any anti-healing debuffs. There are better options for this kind of support like Ewok Elder but in comparison, Ackbar is easier to farm. However, his damage is not his strong suit so he is only useful at cleansing off the debuffs.
Biggs Darklighter
Biggs Darklighter is another light side support hero who also happens to be among the rebels. His strong suit is landing critical hits very often which if played properly can be very strong. The only reason he is bad is because of his horrible speed stats which are way below average.
Boba Fett
Boba Fett is a dark-side tank hero with ranged attacks and the ability to revive. He is very good at picking off squishy heroes thanks to his AoE attacks while also being able to tank a lot of the hits they may dish out. Lastly, he also gains the ability to evade attacks when his allies are defeated which makes him even more of a nuisance to deal with.
Storm Trooper Han
Stormtrooper Han is one of the many Han variants in our article. He is a light-side tank and is more of a turn-meter controller. Because of his large turn meter, enemies are sure to focus on him first and knock him out the earliest so you have to build a team around that taunt tactic for him to do well.
Not only that but in order to use him well, he needs to be built extremely well. Lastly, he may be a tank but is one of the most fragile ones which makes him extremely dependent on healers to keep him alive.
Royal Guard
The Royal Guard is a dark side defense hero which is used to taunt the enemies and keep up your team’s defensive capability. The Royal Guard has been buffed which makes him a more suitable character. His buff allows you to have an 80% chance of stunning an enemy hero which is quite good. He is also good at poking and at the same time allows weekend allies to be healed up with ease.
Cad Bane
Cad Bane is a dark side Anti-Jedi hero who has very high damaging abilities. He is one of the most effective Anti-Jedis.The target stun ability allows him to silence a Jedi enemy hero for 2 turns which is an extremely strong advantage. The downside of using him is his low health. He is a very squishy attacker and is very tough to farm compared to other heroes.
Qui-Gon Jinn
Qui-Gon Jinn is a light-side Jedi Master who is used as a support hero in most scenarios. He is very good at the early stages of the game because he does decent damage once built up a little. His skills are very interesting as well which allows him to either buff the speed stat of his team or remove enemy buffs from his allies. Lastly, he is a very good Jedi to have on your team, just not the best or the greatest.
Princess Leia
Princess Leia is also on the more popular side of the star wars characters. She is a light-side attacker with multi-attack abilities. Using her as an assassin is more useful as she is almost always forced to use her first ability. Leia is one of the weaker heroes initially but becomes very good after a lot of building her up which is not an easy task to do.
Lando Calrissian
Lando Calrissian is a light-side attack hero with the ability to do AoE damage along with a high critical ratio. For an AoE hero, being able to do that much damage early on in the game is extremely good. Unfortunately, his other stats like speed and health are the reason he is in the current tier. Still, as a Padawan tier hero, he is still very good to build a team around.
Darth Maul
Darth Maul is a very popular character in the Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes Tier List, as some of the teams are built to counter him specifically. He is one of the strongest anti-Jedi heroes that you can play in the game but has a very low health pool. His AoE damage is extremely lethal against a team of Jedi and is best paired with the Sith Allies. But Maul has very low-speed stats which makes him quite dependent on his team to do well in battles.
Dathcha
Dathcha is light sided Jawa Support hero who is extremely good against droid teams. He scales up with the number of Jawa allies he has in his team. However, due to his low health pool, it’s imperative to run him in the correct team as well. His AoE damage can also stun droids which is very useful in Droid populated maps.
Darth Sidious
Darth Sidious is a dark-side Jedi with anti-healing abilities which makes him a very annoying hero to play against if you’re not running any anti-debuff heroes. All in all, Darth Sidious is one of the most powerful heroes in the current meta because of his aggressive kit. One thing to keep in mind when playing him is that he has a very low health pool and is very weak if not built properly.
Ewok Elder
Ewok Elder is a very decent support hero with good healing and revives capabilities. He is a very good counter to Darth Sidious because of his ability to remove debuffs from allies as well as heal them. His popularity is not the best which is why he is not played nearly as much as he should be played because of his kit.
Magmatrooper
The Magmatrooper is a dark-sided hero who is great at attacking with the ability to recover from debuffs quickly. He also deals potent AoE damage while also having control over the turn meter. When talking about his health and speed, it is pretty decent compared to some of the other troopers which makes him a nice addition to the dark side.
Nightsister Acolyte
Nightsister Acolyte is part of the Nightsister faction with stealth attacking abilities and some enemy debuffing abilities. The main focus on building her is basically just speed because she has a decent base for the other stats. She doesn’t have any turn manipulation abilities just building her speed seems to be the best way to play her in the current meta.
E Tier
![Star Wars Tier List: Galaxy of Heroes Ranking [2023] (6) Star Wars Tier List: Galaxy of Heroes Ranking [2023] (6)](https://i0.wp.com/toptierlist.net/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/Youngling-Tier.png)
Finally, the last tier of the SWGOH Tier List is the youngling tier. It contains the worst heroes that exist in the game as of yet. Only some of the more notable younglings are going to be discussed in this tier as it would be meaningless to discuss them all. They are listed below.
Clone Sergeant
The first hero of the youngling tier is the Clone Sergeant. He is a light-sided AoE-based attacker who scales higher the more copies he has in his team. He is one of the slower heroes to farm so having a clone team may be hard to obtain. Furthermore, clone troopers have the ability to reduce the enemy turn meter by 50% which is quite good for a youngling tier hero.
Clone Wars Chewbacca
Another version of the famous light side ally is Clone Wars Chewbacca. He is a tanky meatshield with abilities that force enemies to attack him. He also has abilities that allow him to self-heal alongside his good defense stats which make him perfect for tanking damage. The only way to bring down Clone Wars Chewbacca is to just spam him with burst damage which, unfortunately, most teams are capable of doing.
Coruscant Underworld Police
The Coruscant Under Police is a controller-support hero who is adept at attacking the enemy heroes frequently. If you opt for a non-AoE team, then the hero is a very good pick, especially as a new player who is just getting into the game. Compared to the other heroes. he does not nearly have enough stats to be played frequently.
Ewok Scout
The Ewok Scout is a light side ally who is an Ewok Attacker with the ability to reduce enemy turn meters. Despite being stealthy and gaining massive synergy bonuses from allies Ewok Elder and Teebo, he is extremely hard to farm. The amount of work that needs to be put behind farming for him is a lot, which is why he is not worth it.
IG-86 Sentinel Droid
The IG-86 Sentinel Droid is one of the dark-sided droids that was high damage attacks that rely on critical hits and droid ally synergies. These droids are extremely good at demolishing normal games but one has to be careful about the Anti-Droid team running someone like Dathcha or Ima-Gun Di. It is definitely a good idea to farm him up as he has great synergy with teammates like Poggle the Lesser or Old Daka.
Ima-Gun Di
Ima-Gun Di is an anti-droid Jedi who also happens to be a very powerful tank. He is one of the most perfect heroes to play on a droid-heavy map and clear them with ease. The leader role of a team is also a well-suited place for someone like him as he works well against AoE attackers.
Jedi Knight Guardian
The Jedi Knight Guardian is a light-sided ally that is mostly used as a support hero in some teams. She is one of the most underpowered and weakest heroes that exist in the article. Her kit is horrible at attacking or defending and since she gets the self-defense buff with horrible attack stats, no one targets her at all making her useless in a fight. Jedi Knight Guardian is also one of the slowest heroes in the game that can be replaced by almost everyone.
Kit Fisto
Kit Fisto is a Jedi Attacker with a very versatile kit. He has a decent attack, armor, and health which allows him to be a greatly influential hero in the team. Consequently, he is one of the better heroes to pick when starting off in the game because of his unique kit and abilities.
Mace Windu
The final hero we will be discussing amount the star wars characters and this star wars galaxy of heroes tier is Mace Windu. He is a light-side Jedi attacker with the ability to clean up enemy team buffs. He is a very defensive tank Jedi as well which makes him quite annoying to deal with His ideal spot is as a leader but still can be played in other ally positions. However, with his great defense and attack, the drawback about him is his speed which is insultingly low to deal with and that’s why he is not played that much at all.
